Netflix slammed Mike Tyson-Jake Paul’s’streaming quality problems’

Boxing fans were upset with Netflix’s broadcast of the Mike Tyson-Jake Paul fight in Texas on Friday owing to technical issues that escalated throughout the evening.

In Friday’s undercard, fans on both sides of the Atlantic reported poor image quality, delayed buffering, and sporadic audio.

At 10:35pm New York time Friday, Downdetector reported over 80,000 customers experiencing issues.

“Netflix is tricking everyone into watching a fight they have no idea how to support,” X reviewer said.

“Well, look at the good side,” someone joked. No one unites the country like Netflix after a split election. Tonight we appear in accord.

Netflix disappointed fans in Friday’s Texas fight.

Many Netflix customers spotted an issue during Friday’s match.

Even boxer Lennox Lewis (L) had to shout Kate Scott’s questions at Evander Holyfield (R) during the presentation.

The complaints extended beyond streaming.

Broadcasters had troubles too. Presenter Kate Scott questioned the producers ‘where are we’ as the desk struggled to hear.

His problems weren’t unique to Scott. Evander Holyfield and Lennox Lewis, Tyson’s former opponents, both have hearing problems.

Lewis asked Holyfield whether Tyson will bite Paul’s ear as Iron Mike did to ‘The Real Deal’ in their 1997 rematch. Lewis confused Holyfield, and the subject evolved by then.

As Jerry Jones promoted Netflix as an NFL partner, his microphone kept going in and out, making problems worse.
