After a hairy beast begins consuming their six-month-old twins, a 24-year-old couple faces charges.

Both children were placed in the Department of Social Services’ care when the twin brother of the newborn girl was discovered to have bite marks on his feet.

According to WHNS, during the deputies’ interrogation of the parents, they acknowledged that field rats had been a recurring issue in their house for months.

Following the arrests, the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office said that the Department of Social Services had also taken up a third kid, however it was unclear who this youngster was.

Both Akayla and Justin were jailed after confessing to letting their baby twins stay in their house even though they were aware of the rat infestation.

Two charges of illegal behavior against a minor have now been brought against them. Tuesday is the day of their next bail hearing.

According to the court, a 43-year-old mother killed her 4-year-old kid by stabbing him after being displeased with her ex-partner’s new relationship.
