You want your kids to be welcoming of different people and open-minded as they grow up. Usually, we attempt to do this by teaching our children that all individuals are deserving of respect and love.
But one father is going one step farther. By dressing in heels and skirts, Mark Bryan, a straight father of three, is demonstrating to his children that gender norms are only societal constructs.
Bryan’s bold use of gendered apparel has astounded many, and many of them have responded with encouraging words for the parent.

“The only thing I’m mad about is how I can’t get my calves to look like his, haha,” a third individual concurs. He looks fantastic!
Bryan is developing his social media profile in addition to his full-time job as an engineer. He now has about 600,000 Instagram followers.
“Clothes and shoes do not dictate a person’s sexual orientation or gender,” he writes as the caption for every photo of his outfit.
“It became more and more evident that what I was doing on Instagram was helping so many that wanted to wear non-gender conforming.

In order to let everyone “feel comfortable” wearing whatever they choose, he went on to say that he wanted to “de***ualize clothing.” Bryan discussed his new position as an influencer in an interview.
With Harper’s Bazaar Australia. Bryan said, “Why not try to earn some money doing it if I have the chance?” However, I’m also enjoying myself well.
“I would have laughed and said, ‘No freakin’ way,’ if you had told me 13 months ago that I was going to do this.” He went on: “Instead of saying,
‘That’s Mark, wearing a pair of women’s shoes,’ someone should just say, ‘Oh, that’s Mark and he’s just wearing a pair of shoes,’ when they see me strolling down the street.”
“Genderlessness occurs when we stop identifying a piece of clothing with a certain gender. Bryan told Bored Panda that because of the “power” that women in skirts and heels embody,
He has “always admired” them. “To me, clothing has no gender,” he said. I like skirts more than dresses. I can’t mix the sexes with dresses.
