In a surprise upset, Donald Trump wins Kamala Harris to become the US president in 2024.

Donald Trump made an astonishing political comeback and regained the White House after being designated the 2024 U.S. presidential election winner.

He becomes only the second president in history to win a nonconsecutive second term, and the first in almost 130 years to do so.

He was a president who faced impeachment twice; in 2021, he resigned from office after allegations that he had encouraged an assault on the United States Capitol; and earlier this year, he was found guilty on several counts of corporate fraud. His triumph against Vice President Kamala Harris marks his remarkable return to office.

At 78 years old, Trump will become the oldest president in history, five months older than Joe Biden, who held the record for the most inaugurations.

His incredible victory was completed on a night reminiscent of 2016, when he won the crucial swing states of North Carolina, Georgia, and Pennsylvania.

The Associated Press declared Wisconsin the winner at 5:34 a.m. (ET) on Wednesday, and the contest was officially declared three minutes later.

Throughout the contest, Harris remained steadfast in his position. Her campaign co-chair, former Rep. Cedric Richmond, said shortly after midnight that she had instead gone to bed and would not be addressing supporters until “tomorrow.”

In the 2024 U.S. presidential election, Donald Trump made an incredible political comeback and was declared the winner, reclaiming the White House.

Trump delivered his victory address in West Palm Beach on Tuesday night. (On stage: Donald, Melania, and Barron, their son.) He becomes the first president in over 130 years to win a non-consecutive second term.

Following Joe Biden’s unexpected withdrawal from the race in July and two shocking attempts on Trump’s life (Trump is pictured here after surviving an assassination attempt in Butler, Pennsylvania), the tumultuous 2024 campaign finally comes to a conclusion with Trump’s victory.

With his victory against Vice President Kamala Harris, the thrice impeached president made an incredible return to office.

At 11:19 p.m. (ET), Trump was called to North Carolina, marking a pivotal moment.

An apparently calm crowd at the official Republican watch party in a West Palm Beach, Florida, convention center suddenly erupted into a fit of nervous excitement.

One guest at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort said, “A feeling of destiny” had replaced cautious optimism as the atmosphere changed from enjoying the results with loved ones to acting on them.

With his joyful family and campaign staff at his side, Trump walked the stage at the convention center in the early hours of Wednesday morning. Standing before his loyal followers, he said with conviction, “We’re going to help our country heal.”

This political movement was unprecedented, in his opinion. “We can make America great again” as a result of this incredible victory for the whole country.

The 2024 campaign, which was characterized by Biden’s sudden departure in July and two terrible attempts on Trump’s life, undoubtedly comes to a conclusion with Trump’s resounding triumph.

Tragically, under his leadership, society has become even more fractured due to his penchant for verbal and physical aggression.

After announcing his intention to run again in November of 2022, Trump handily beat other Republican contenders, including former South Carolina governor Nikki Haley and Florida governor Ron DeSantis, to earn the Party nomination in March of this year.

With summer on the horizon, he had a significant advantage against President Biden, 81, who was falling flat on his face with voters because of his age, economic record, and immigration policies.

It was the now-infamous CNN debate on June 27th between the two front-runners that helped Trump’s campaign, as Biden stumbled and froze, seemed unable to react coherently to even the most basic questions.

At a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, on July 13, while president Trump was speaking, assassin-in-waiting Thomas Matthew Crooks shot and severed his right ear. With his shoes knocked off and his face covered in blood, Trump sprang to his feet as Secret Service men around him, yelling out, “Fight! Fight! Fight!”

When he arrived in Milwaukee, Wisconsin a few days later for the Republican National Convention, he was welcomed with heroism.

Trump promised a national audience in a moving speech given to a sold-out convention hall the night before that he would serve as president for all Americans. At the same time, MAGA fans showed their support for the former president by wearing phony bandages on their ears.

But after three days, everything changed. While he and his family were incarcerated at Camp David, Biden announced his departure from the 2024 campaign in a sad letter that was leaked on X.

He said in his letter, “I believe it is in the best interest of my party and the country for me to stand down and to focus solely on fulfilling my duties as President for the remainder of my term.” He quickly endorsed Kamala Harris, the Democratic candidate for his successor, inside the hour.

In a single day, Harris mobilized supporters and raised about $100 million. Hillary formally received the party nomination at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago the next month, with notable attendees like as Kerry Washington, Oprah Winfrey, and Eva Longoria. At the time, she was polling far ahead of Trump.

Harris handily beat Trump in their first and last televised debate on September 10. His insanity-inducing assertion that Haitian migrants were ‘eating the dogs […] consuming the animals’ of American citizens went viral right away.

A few days later, an attempt was made to assassinate Trump at his West Palm Beach golf club, but it had no effect due to the meteoric rise in Harris’s popularity.

In a further blow to the Trump campaign, Ohio Senator JD Vance—now the vice president-elect and a Trump campaign supporter—got himself into a web of comments that went at female Democrats.

He criticised Harris and other childless women in a 2021 interview, calling them “childless cat ladies who are miserable at their own lives.” And he went beyond that.

The gender disparity did, in fact, emerge as a major issue in the 2024 race.

A large portion of Trump’s female voting base disapproves of his role in the 2022 campaign to repeal Roe v. Wade. This landmark decision would have decriminalized abortion nationwide and given states the power to pass laws regulating the practice.

Unfortunately, abortion was not the magic solution that Harris had sought. Furthermore, Floridians were given the chance to cast their ballots about the controversial 6-week abortion ban proposed by Governor DeSantis. Despite winning every pro-abortion ballot question since Roe v. Wade was repealed, Democrats ultimately failed on Tuesday, failing to get the 60% required to repeal the Florida law.

Meanwhile, Trump’s performance among male voters this year has been impressive. Despite concerns that Trump and Vance were making the campaign too “bro-tastic” (with a shirt-ripping Hulk Hogan included), a large turnout of male voters seems to have helped him win the race.

Harris’ once-dominant poll lead has started to fade after weeks of fighting off the temptation to cave to harsh TV interviews. Prominent Democratic strategist David Axelrod accused Harris of plunging into “word salad city” last month, and even her own fans were upset with her for the confused and rambling answers she gave to questions.

As the campaign drew to a close, pollsters’ consensus was that the race was still too close to call.

A few of Trump supporters among the experts, however, pointed to his persistent low poll numbers as proof that he was leading the election, particularly in a close one.

The economic and inflationary climate, the immigration crisis at the southern border, and the foreign policy legacy of the Biden-Harris administration—namely, the disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan in 2021, Russia’s invasion of Ukraine in 2022, and the recent conflict in Israel—undoubtedly played a role in Trump’s victory.

Trump will likely lean on the core of MAGA fans who have stuck by him through all the controversies as he prepares to take over the nation now that he has won.

Through 2016, he has encircled himself with military and Republican National Committee moderates.

His daughter-in-law Lara Trump is now serving as the head of the Republican National Committee, thanks to him. Former military officials, such as Trump’s former chief of staff General John Kelly, have warned him that he is not qualified to govern.

Opponents of Trump are concerned that the president will be granted excessive power by the extremists who will fill his new cabinet.

Immediate action was taken by Trump on January 1, 2017, to ban travel from seven mostly Muslim countries, via the issuance of an executive order.

This time, he intends to do a large-scale deportation of illegal immigrants, free certain prisoners convicted of crimes that occurred on January 6, and fire the special counsel who is investigating him for possible election interference.

As time has passed, Americans have warmed up to his first term in office, remembering his strong economic record and secure borders rather than the despicable riots of January 6 and his unfounded “stolen vote” claims after Biden’s narrow 2020 victory.

After Republicans had unexpectedly bad midterm results in 2022, Trump boldly began his campaign. He was able to regain his unbeatable public presence and win over the party faithful because to his irresistible charm and attractive personality.

President Trump wore an apron and worked the fry station at a Pennsylvania McDonald’s in the dying hours of the election last month, according to Tim Murtaugh, head of communications for Team Trump, who talked with the Daily Mail.

It wasn’t so much the French fry preparation procedure or manning the drive-thru window, he said.

That was when he got close in the Pennsylvania march down the street in Bucks County. Tens of thousands of people were already lined the route; we didn’t cause this crush.

A local magazine disclosed the details to the public, attracting an unanticipated attendance to the McDonald’s event, which was originally intended as a surprise ruse.

Thanks to an equally spontaneous and large turnout of voters on Election Day and in the early voting, Trump was able to secure the victory and begin a second term that will surely be every bit as exciting and historic as the first.
